why are they against us trying to stimulate jobs by giving tax cuts to the middle class? why are they against us stimulating jobs by giving tax breaks to small businesses which, this fact, are the ones that create the jobs? why don't thiey think it's important to develop alternative energy and all the jobs that would flow from those jobs and encourage manufacturing to stay in the united states? why is it they don't support the president's proposal to continue our increase in infrastructure which would be necessary even if we had full employment? i know what they're against. they're against all those things. i just don't know what they're for. >> don't miss lawrence o'donnell's last word on the biggest issues and most compelling stories of the day. not many cloud also effect us this week. it will be a tranquil week. d.c. today, 79. new york at 76. typical of what you would expect mid to late september. very much feeling like fall. even into, as we go throughout this week, it will be nice. tuesday to wednesday and every single day is going to be pretty much dry out there. let's show you the forecast as we go throughout the country, looking very nice out there today and tomorrow in the southeast. it's going to be warm the next couple of days. temperatures in texas, especially north texas, in the 90s. same with areas like denver. down to the southeast we are also going to be very, very warm. not a lot changes. the only problem area is the west coast. anyone doing traveling, especially the pacific northwest, seattle, portland, that's where we will deal with shower activity and wet weather. lynn, as i mentioned, it's nice. always news for you. always something for you to talk about. every now and then i get these quiet periods. >> we try and set that up for you. when you are working so hard, we just give bill a break
